I am working on starting up my photography business and it is a "one piece at a time" venture since my budget is tight (by tight I mean nearly nonexistent). I so appreciate your tutorials but also I want you to know that I appreciate you being upfront and letting us know what is going on instead of leaving everyone wondering! :) As Light-catchers said, the name really is not that important, it is the wonderful content you are sharing! Can't wait until I am far enough into it to pay it forward!

I was just thinking about why I hadn't received any emails from you lately. I love what you do, and keep up the good work!

I feel for you Scott...I know how complex an internet biz can be and how changing one thing can have a ripple effect... sometimes causing unexpected changes. But I know you've got the right positive attitude to see this thing through.
Ultimately, when all is said and done, you'll have learned and grown and your business will be stronger than ever. Welcome...NewPortraitBiz.com!

Hey Scott,

I don't care if its call newcrapbiz.com...what you do is incredibly awesome. Your tutorials are great, and you always keep everyone informed. I have tried other things online and nothing compares to what you do. Most importantly YOU DO EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAY YOU WILL...others give ou a line of bull about oh you can contact us anytime, but then you never hear from them. I have never waited more than a couple hours to get a response from a question or email to you. THANK YOU FOR A GREAT PRODUCT AND BEING THE ULTIMATE PROFESSIONAL!!!!

Scott, it's a monumental task ahead of you but you have always displayed the ability to tackle difficult circumstances and come out shining.

I'm sure I can speak for the people on the NewPortraitBiz Forum when I say, if you need us to do anything, just ask and we will do our best to help out during the transition.

We appreciate all you and Lisa do for us, we support you 110%.

Ouch! I feel for you mate. In one years time, you will look back at this lot, cringe at what you achieved and just get on with what you do and do darn well i must add. Break the whole job up into 12 monthly chunks and just gnaw away at it till done; don't sacrifice your core essence. Cheers

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the videos, just what I’ve been looking for.
I did a photo shoot last weekend, of two kids. The photos were wonderful. I set up my studio in their home. That made them feel special. My questions are: How many photos are necessary to shoot in one sitting? How much time is acceptable to spend on one sitting? I took too many photos. And I stayed their much too long. Grandma wants to have some photos mounted to offer as a gift to her kids. But grandma has a tough time trying to figure out which picture to choose. I know that’s where I went wrong. I would like to know, how much photos are usually shown to a client after a shoot?
Thanks
